Bhubaneshwar, Jan. 15 -- Authorities in Odisha's Sundargarh town have withdrawn internet services for 24 hours after a group clash between two communities left over a dozen people injured on Thursday, a senior police official said.
To avert possible breach of peace, the district administration has also enforced prohibitory order under Section 163 under Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), banning assemblies of four or more people, in the township, said an official.
Internet services have been withdrawn from 6 pm today till 6 pm Friday in the whole of Sundargarh Township as a precautionary measure to stop spread misinformation and rumour.
