Patna, Feb. 18 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that communal amity in the state had prevailed since his government was voted to power in 2005.

Kumar during his " Pragati Yatra " in Kaimur district , said that earlier during the regime of RJD from 1990 to 2005, there used to be communal disturbances in Bihar. When his government was voted to power in November 2005, many steps were taken to maintain communal amity in the state , he added.
