Nashik, Aug. 17 -- A commotion broke out at the famous Trimbakeshwar temple here, one of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas' in India, after a devotee kicked the closed entry gate due to heavy rush.
With the holy month of 'Shravan' underway, the temple has been witnessing huge crowds, with nearly one lakh devotees arriving daily for 'darshan.' To control the crowd, the temple authorities had closed the entry gates for some time. However, a devotee from another state, upset over the closure, began creating a scene and even attempted to push the security guards who tried to pacify him.
The situation escalated when security personnel thrashed the unruly devotee. Meanwhile, his family members began filming the incident and attempted to circulate videos...
