Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference to be held in Dharamshala on June 30 & July 1

Dharamshala, June 22 -- The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will host the annual conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region-II at the Tapovan Assembly complex here on June 30 and July 1.

This was announced by Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania during a high-level review meeting with district officials.

He said that CPA India Region-II comprises five states - Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Delhi and for the two-day event, Speakers of six states have been specially invited as guests of honour.

Pathania said that the conference theme is "Good Governance in the Digital Age: Managing Resources, Protecting Democracy, and Embracing Innovation."
