Bhubaneswar, Nov. 13 -- Brijesh Kumar Mishra, Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), South Eastern Circle, conducted a detailed statutory inspection of the newly constructed 3rd and 4th line between Hindol Road and Meramandali under Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.
The inspection covered a 26.826 km section, forming part of the 170 km Budhapank-Salegaon 3rd & 4th Line Project. Earlier, CRS inspection had been completed for 86.54 km of this route.
During the inspection, a speed trial was successfully conducted at 110 kmph, and following satisfactory performance, trains have now been permitted to run at 100 kmph initially on both the newly commissioned lines. The CRS, accompanied by senior officials of East Coast Railway and the C...
