New Delhi, April 14 -- Commercial LPG supply in the country has been restored to nearly 70 per cent of pre-crisis levels, with the government putting in place a coordinated mechanism involving oil companies and state authorities to ensure equitable distribution amid the evolving situation in West Asia.

At an inter-ministerial briefing held in the national capital on Tuesday, officials explained a series of measures covering fuel supply management, public advisories, enforcement actions, and international coordination to minimise disruptions linked to tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
