Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Kashmir, Rajiv Ompraksh Pande on Monday instructed officers to combat terror ecosystem and narco-smuggling with an iron fist in Budgam district.
The DIG said this while chairing a comprehensive security review meeting in central Kashmir's Budgam, focusing on the prevailing security scenario and counter-terrorism strategies in the district.
The meeting was attended by SSP Budgam, Nikhil Borkar-IPS, along with the Senior Prosecuting Officer, SDPOs, and SHOs of the district.
Pande issued directives for the strict implementation of new criminal laws and also instructed field officers to combat the terror ecosystem and narco-smuggling with an iron fist.
