Ranchi, Dec. 5 -- State is once again gripped by a sharp rise in cold conditions, prompting the Meteorological Department to issue a yellow alert for 11 districts.

The advisory indicates that significant changes in weather patterns, accompanied by a steep drop in temperature over the next 48 hours, may pose challenges for residents.

According to the IMD Department, districts likely to be most affected by the cold wave include Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Chatra, Gumla, Lohardaga, Simdega, Ranchi, Bokaro, Khunti and Ramgarh.
