Lucknow, Nov. 16 -- A cold wave was felt in Etawah, Bareilly, Kanpur, Barabanki and Amethi districts of Uttar Pradesh with day and night temperatures significantly below normal in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, a slight seasonal drop in minimum temperatures is expected in the next 24 hours. Consequently, a partial cold wave may persist in the central parts of the state during the night and early morning until November 16. However, with the change in wind direction from Monday, the temperature drop will decrease.
