Ranchi, Nov. 23 -- Cold weather conditions are expected to intensify across state over the next few days, even though no major weather system is currently influencing the region.

According to the Ranchi Meteorological Centre, north-westerly and westerly winds remain active, keeping the weather dry statewide during the past 24 hours.

Sahebganj recorded the highest maximum temperature at 30degC, while Gumla registered the lowest minimum temperature at 10.9degC the coldest in the state.

Meteorologists noted that temperatures in most districts hovered slightly above or below normal levels, with morning humidity ranging between 80% and 95%.
