Paris, June 4 -- Third seed Coco Gauff staged a stirring comeback to defeat compatriot Madison Keys 6-7(6), 6-4, 6-1 and book her place in the semi-finals of the French Open here on Wednesday.

In a nervy all-American quarterfinal, Gauff recovered from a slow start and a first-set tiebreak defeat to dominate the decider and keep her title hopes alive at Roland Garros. The 20-year-old will next face the winner of the quarterfinal between Russia's Mirra Andreeva and local hope Lois Boisson.
