Porbandar, Feb. 19 -- The Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday apprehended a fishing boat with 9 crews for allegedly being involved in a mid-sea theft in a dead foreign ship being towed to Alang ship-breaking yard in Gujarat.

Defence PRO said that in a swift sea operation at 0730 hours today while responding to call for help, Indian Coast Guard ship C-419 apprehended an Indian fishing boat Kirmani with 09 crews including 02 of the crew hiding on a dead vessel namely MT Morbius (AL Marzouqah) under tow by tug Allianz Titanium to Alang.
