Itanagar, Sept. 18 -- Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi has visited the Likabali Military Station in Arunachal Pradesh to review the combat readiness of the formation, Defence sources said.
During his visit yesterday, the Army Chief was briefed on operational matters, the internal security situation in the region, technology infusion, integration with other security agencies, and various nation-building initiatives undertaken by the formation.
He commended all ranks for their dedication and unwavering commitment to duty in one of the most challenging terrains. He also appreciated the formation's innovative efforts in integrating next-generation equipment into the security framework.
