Kannur, Dec. 9 -- : Kerala Chief Minister and CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Pinarayi Vijayan said the local body election results will further consolidate support for the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), asserting that people have endorsed the LDF's Rs 70,526-crore development projects implemented through local bodies over the past five years.
Speaking at a 'Face to Face with the CM' organised by the Kannur Press Club on Tuesday, Vijayan predicted a favourable outcome for the LDF in the Kannur Corporation, citing the front's development-oriented manifesto.
