Shimla, Oct. 31 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence in New Delhi and sought increased central assistance for strengthening Himachal Pradesh's health infrastructure.

The Chief Minister urged the union Minister to enhance the annual allocation for the State under the National Health Mission (NHM) by Rs. 200 crore in the next financial year.

He also requested the early approval for setting up three dedicated Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in the state to improve treatment facilities for patients with critical ailments.
