Dharamshala, Dec. 1 -- Politics flared up in Dharamshala on Monday after Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu responded sharply to the ongoing "Radhe-Radhe" controversy while addressing the Anti-Chitta Walkathon.

Taking the stage, the Chief Minister himself raised slogans of "Radhe-Radhe", sending a clear message to the Opposition that attempts to politicise religious chants would no longer be entertained.

The political row had erupted two days ago when schoolchildren greeted the Chief Minister with "Radhe-Radhe" at the Dharamshala Stadium. The CM had simply asked them, "Why do you say Radhe-Radhe?", but the BJP gave the exchange a political twist, triggering a heated debate.
