Shimla, Aug. 8 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday hinted at the induction of more ministers into his Council of Ministers and indicated that the next president of the Pradesh Congress Committee could be one of his cabinet colleagues.
"I have no objection if SC or any of my cabinet colleagues is made chairman," he said, with ministers Anirudh Singh and Rohit Thakur emerging as names in the reckoning in recent days.
Political observers view this as a signal that a ministerial berth may be linked to the party post, while leaders Vinay Kumar or Vinod Sultanpuri from the Scheduled Caste quota could also be contenders.
