Shimla, Sept. 9 -- Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the cloudburst incident at Shamarni village in Ghatu Gram Panchayat, Nirmand tehsil, Kullu district, which occurred last night.
According to reports, the incident claimed five lives and left three injured.
The Chief Minister said that the government stands in solidarity with the affected families in this difficult time and added that all possible assistance would be provided to them.
He said that relief and rescue operation was being carried out on a war-footing. He also wished speedy recovery to the injured.
