Kangra, Sept. 10 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today apprised PM Modi of the widespread devastation in the state and sought urgent assistance from the Centre. He urged the Centre to provide relaxation under the Forest Conservation Act so that displaced families could be resettled,During his meeting with the PM, the CM said that while the state government is extending all possible help to the affected families from its limited resources, immediate additional support from the union Government was essential.
