New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today inaugurated around 80 projects related to various public services, worth over Rs 760 crore, for 50 villages in Delhi's rural belt.
She stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always says that when the villages develop, the entire country develops.
Aimed at speeding up development of Delhi's villages, these projects are being implemented under the Delhi Gramoday Abhiyan.
The CM dedicated these initiatives to the public in the presence of Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena at Outer Delhi's Pooth Khurd village.
Gupta said that the simultaneous launch of numerous schemes shows how committed the Delhi government is to the villages.
