New Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday laid out his government's roadmap for the State's all-round development.
Addressing the 12th Annual Conference of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI) in New Delhi, the Chief Minister said that "political will is very necessary to govern."He added that although Telangana is a new state, it has a rich historical legacy and is moving forward with "Telangana Vision 2047."He explained that the State has been divided into core urban, semi-urban and rural zones for balanced development.
CM Reddy said Hyderabad's metro network will be expanded from the existing 70 km to 150 km, with a target of raising daily ridership from 5 lakh to 15 lakh.
