Hyderabad, Feb. 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasised that the tourism sector should not only generate revenue for the state but also create employment opportunities for the youth.

He noted that while Telangana has vast tourism potential, a lack of promotional efforts and innovative strategies in the past had hindered its growth. He urged officials to blend the state's rich history with modern attractions to pave the way for a flourishing tourism industry.

Chairing a review meeting on the tourism department at the ICCC on Friday, the Chief Minister stressed the need for incentives to investors in semi-urban and rural tourism projects.
