Hyderabad, Dec. 6 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday paid homage to Dr B R Ambedkar on his death anniversary, recalling his towering role in shaping the nation.
In a message posted on X, the Chief Minister said Ambedkar's visionary leadership laid the foundation for social justice, equality and democracy in India.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu offered floral tributes at Ambedkar's statue on Lower Tank Bund and later spoke to the media, describing Ambedkar as the statesman who empowered every Indian with the powerful democratic tool of the vote.
He said the country was fortunate to have a leader who gave citizens the right to elect the government of their choice and chart their own future.
