Bengaluru, Oct. 10 -- The Chief Minister today chaired the inaugural meeting of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) at Kempegowda Town Hall, outlining a comprehensive roadmap for decentralised governance, enhanced civic services, and sustainable urban development across the rapidly growing city.

With Bengaluru's population now around 1.40 crore, he stressed the need for coordinated administration through the newly formed five municipal corporations to ensure efficient waste management, traffic decongestion, infrastructure improvement, and better citizen-centric services, while emphasising transparency, quality, and collaboration among all government agencies and urban bodies.
