Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed district administrations and officials to remain on high alert for the next 72 hours in view of the heavy rains lashing the state.
He held a video conference with Collectors and senior officials from across the state at the Command Control Center, stressing the need for swift and coordinated action, particularly in flood-prone and low-lying areas.
The meeting was attended by Ministers Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, DGP Jitender, and other senior officials.
