Srinagar, Feb. 28 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his father Farooq Abdullah extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the holy month of Ramadhan on Friday.
Chief Minister Omar and Farooq who is also President of National Conference appealed to the people to pray for the upliftment and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir during the holy month of Ramadan during the five times prayers.
The holy month of Ramadhan is likely to begin on Saturday subject to the appearance of the moon in Jammu and Kashmir.
The duo also asked the people to pray for the world of human beings for their survival and well-being during the month.
