Chandigarh, Oct. 29 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday launched the second phase of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Speaking at the launch event, Kejriwal said the initiative reflects the Punjab government's commitment to serving people from all walks of life by enabling them to visit revered religious sites. He emphasized that the selection process for beneficiaries is completely transparent and conducted through an open draw system following registration. A dedicated medical team will accompany each group of pilgrims to ensure their safety throughout the journey.
