Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday approved another battalion of 'Odisha Industrial Security Force in the state.
Chief Minister's Office (CMO) sources said a total of 1040 posts have also been created for this new battalion.
It is worth noting that there is one battalion functioning in OISF in the state, whose strength is 1807.
After the creation of the new battalion, a total of 2 battalions will work in it. The number of posts in the two battalions will be 2847.
The Chief Minister said the Odisha government is taking steps to focus on the growth of industry in the state.
