Itanagar, June 27 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced two landmark heritage initiatives that promise to transform Mukto and Chakzam in Tawang district into vibrant centres of cultural pride, learning, and sustainable development.
In Mukto, a Multipurpose Cultural Learning Centre is coming up-envisioned as a dynamic space that will preserve and promote Arunachal Pradesh's spiritual and artistic traditions. The Centre's rooftop will be crowned with a replica of the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, flanked by three majestic standing stupas symbolizing the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.
