Itanagar, April 2 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday chaired the fifth Governing Body meeting of the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM), underscoring the critical role of women empowerment in strengthening rural communities and the state's overall development.

Highlighting the impact of the mission, Khandu said that empowering women leads to stronger families, which in turn contribute to stronger villages and a more resilient state. He described ArSRLM as a key initiative in building a self-reliant and confident Arunachal Pradesh.
