Bhopal, Aug. 13 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said today that in Sanatan culture, pilgrimage has special importance, as it paves the way for attaining salvation, and that the pilgrimage sites besides being significant from the spiritual point of view are also a way of keeping the country united.
The CM made the remarks while virtually flagging off from the CM House in Bhopal, the train, takes pilgrims from Ujjain to Ayodhya under the 'Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana'. He said that the pilgrims departing from the city of Baba Mahakal, Ujjain, to earn virtue in the city of Baba Vishwanath, Varanasi, deserve congratulations.
