Mumbai, Sept. 19 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reportedly reprimanded BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar for his controversial remarks about senior Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction) leader Jayant Patil and his late father, Rajarambapu Patil.
The remarks, made at a function in Jat, Sangli district, sparked a strong debate in political circles. NCP-SP Chief Sharad Pawar is said to have personally called CM Fadnavis to express his displeasure over the issue.
