Mumbai, Dec. 14 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today performed the first 'bhoomi poojan' (groundbreaking ceremony) of the Exotic Bird Park at Mulund, Mumbai, this evening via video conferencing.
The new bird park will be developed on a 17,140 sq mtr plot, with 10,859 sq mtr dedicated to specialized aviaries for exotic birds.
The park will feature 24 separate habitats, showcasing rare and colourful birds from around the world, including Galah Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots, and Scarlett Macaws.
