Mumbai, Dec. 26 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday called upon citizens to adopt a personal resolve to uphold humanity through action, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of the Sikh Gurus.
He was addressing a Veer Bal Diwas programme at Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadar Darbar in Sayan, Mumbai.
Paying homage to the Sahibzadas - the sons of Guru Gobind Singh - Fadnavis said their courage gave a decisive direction to Indian history and would continue to inspire future generations. He said the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who laid down his life for the nation, remains etched in the country's memory.
The Chief Minister described December 26 as a significant day to remember the bravery of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh (...
