Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has extended heartfelt greetings to all women in the state on the occasion of Rakhi festival, to be celebrated on August 9.
Calling Rakhi a symbol of the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, he urged everyone to celebrate the festival with joy and unity.
Reiterating his government's commitment to women's empowerment, the Chief Minister said several innovative programs are being implemented with the vision of making women financially independent, even millionaires.
He highlighted key initiatives such as Gruha Jyoti, new ration cards, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, Indira Canteens, and Indiramma Houses, where women have been given top priority.
