CM Diddaramaiah defends Rajanna's sacking
Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today firmly defended his decision to remove Minister KN Rajanna from the Cabinet, asserting that it was entirely within his discretion and did not require any justification.
Responding to Opposition demands for an explanation during a heated session of the Legislative Council, Siddaramaiah questioned why the internal matters of the ruling party should be discussed in the House. "Why should the Chief Minister speak about the internal matters of the party?" he asked.
