Dehradun, Dec. 28 -- Uttarakhand government on Sunday spoke out 19 days after the fatal attack on Tripura native student, Angel Chakma who died at a hospital in Dehradun on December 25.
Son of BSF Jawan, Angel was attacked by a group of local youth as he questioned them for their alleged racial comments against him and his brother Michael Chakma.
Following the attack at Selakui area where 24-year MBA student had gone for shopping with his brother on December 9, Dehradun police reluctantly registered an FIR on December 12 on the complaint of Michael Chakma, leading to the arrest of five accused while sixth is absconding.
