Bengaluru, Dec. 28 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Sunday accused the Congress-led government in the state of reducing governance to what he termed remote-control rule, alleging that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar were functioning as puppet rulers under the directions of the party high command in Delhi.

Launching a sharp attack on the ruling dispensation, Vijayendra questioned who actually wielded power in Karnataka, asserting that the people had elected a government in Bengaluru and not an "invisible authority" operating from the national capital.
