Bhubaneswar, July 19 -- A two-day international conclave on Climate Change and Global Warming has recommended the deployment and strengthening of high-resolution lightning
detection systems for early warning at the block and panchayat levels in Odisha.
The conclave proposed integrating the detection network with real-time alerts in operational mode
by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), along with the dissemination of safety guidelines via mobile platforms and community radio.
