New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- Delhi's Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh today emphasized the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, adding that when these two are maintained, it will help in reducing healthcare costs.

As part of the ongoing service fortnight in Delhi, the minister today took part in a large-scale cleanliness drive on Ring Road at Shalimar Bagh, along with local residents, several social organizations, and sanitation workers.

He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has become a people's movement, and guided by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the people in the national Capital are wholeheartedly committed to achieving the goal of a developed and a garbage-free Delhi. ...
