Pune, Dec. 15 -- A Class 10 student died after being stabbed by a fellow student inside a private coaching centre in Pune's Khed area on Monday, police said.
According to the police, the incident occurred during a coaching session when the accused student allegedly attacked his classmate with a knife inside the classroom and then fled from the spot. The victim has been identified as Pushkar Dilip Shangade (16), who sustained a stab injury to the neck.
Shangade was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. Despite medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
