Clashes break out during probe into Dharmasthala case
Dharmasthala, Aug. 7 -- Tensions flared near the temple town of Dharmasthala today as clashes erupted between two groups during an ongoing probe into allegations of mass burials dating back to 2012.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said legal action will be taken against those involved in the violence, which unfolded as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) continued its inquiry into the disturbing claims.
Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara informed that a detailed investigation is underway, with police directed to explore all angles and identify those responsible. He assured that no one damaging the sanctity of Dharmasthala would be spared.
