Guwahati, Jan. 11 -- Amid an ongoing hunger strike by the Gauhati High Court Bar Association, Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant on Sunday laid the foundation of the new integrated campus of the Gauhati High court at Rangmahal, North Guwahati.
Hailing the occasion of layung the foundation stone of the High court at North Guwahati as a historic occasion, Justice Surya Kant said that it is not merely a construction project but a reaffirmation of the Constitutional gurantee that law must never appear remote, forbidding or out of reach.
