Nagpur/Amravati, Sept. 26 -- Chief Justice of India (CJI) Bhushan Gavai's mother, Kamalatai Gavai, will attend a programme as the chief guest organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Amravati on October 5, sources confirmed.
This year, the RSS is marking its centenary, making the Vijayadashami event historic. The main Vijayadashami programme in Nagpur will take place on October 2, with former President Ram Nath Kovind scheduled to attend as the chief guest.
Kamalatai Gavai, wife of the late R. S. Gavai, former governor and head of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Committee (Deekshabhoomi) will be the chief guest at the Amravati event.
