Donetsk, Aug. 13 -- One woman was killed as a result of a Ukrainian kamikaze drone attack on the city of Gorlovka (also known as Horlivka) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said.
"As a result of Ukrainian armed aggression in the center of Gorlovka, a civilian woman was killed. Eternal memory to the innocent victim. Condolences to the family and friends," Prikhodko wrote on Telegram in the early hours of Wednesday.
DPR authorities said that Ukrainian forces attacked Horlivka several times on Tuesday, using kamikaze UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), and dropped explosives from drones onto the city.
