Chennai, April 25 -- Taking a dig at Governor R N Ravi blaming the ruling DMK for threatening and stalling Vice-Chancellors (VCs) of state Universities from attending the meeting convened by him, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister Govai Chezhiyan said the government could not be held responsible as they skipped it in view of the Supreme Court order severely indicting the Governor.

Talking to reporters here on Friday, he accused the Governor of convening the VCs meet to have a confrontation with the state government in the wake of the Apex Court verdict.
