New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- In a significant augmentation of the country's critical infrastructure security architecture, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) had inducted its new unit at the NTPC Talaipalli Coal Mining Project in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
The induction marked operational commencement of the security force's 362nd Unit at one of the fastest-growing captive coal mines in the country.
With 101 personnel deployed in the first phase, out of the sanctioned strength of 265, the induction follows a calibrated deployment plan aligned with the expansion of operations and CISF infrastructure which is being developed at the critical location.
