New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai on Wednesday virtually flagged off the second edition of 'CISF Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon-2026' from the national capital, launching a 25-day nationwide outreach initiative aimed at strengthening coastal security and community participation.

With the flag-off, the 25-day mega national expedition formally commenced, as two CISF cycling teams simultaneously set out from Bakkhali (West Bengal) and Lakhpat (Gujarat).
