New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Monday was formally inducted as the designated aviation security agency for the upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA), Jewar, officials said.
The induction marks a significant milestone in the airport's journey towards operational readiness ahead of its commercial launch, and the ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Government of Uttar Pradesh, CISF, and Noida International Airport, including Praveer Ranjan, Special DG Airports, CISF, Rakesh Kumar Singh, CEO, Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), Kiran Jain, COO NIAL and others.
This makes NIA Jewar the 70th airport in the country to come under CISF security cover.
