New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- US-based digital communications giant Cisco unveiled 'Cisco 8223' industry's most optimized routing system for efficiently and securely connecting data centres and powering the next-generation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads, an official statement said.

A 'routing system' refers to a method that determines the best path for data packets, requests, or tasks to travel from a source to a destination across a network or application.

The 'Cisco 8223' rises to the challenge as the only 51.2 terabits per second (Tbps) Ethernet fixed router built for the intense traffic of AI workloads between data centers.
